Bloodhound Puppies
Code of Ethics –
We are worried about the well being of this magnificent breed now and in the future.
We shall uphold the following moral standards:
- To only breed dogs when we believe doing so would improve the breed’s type, health, and soundness.
- We will never be seen as a “puppy mill” company since we strive to generate quality rather than numbers.
- To exclusively breed for devoted, lifelong homes, not for any kind of “resale” enterprise.
- To be open, truthful, and supportive before, during, and after the sale of our puppies.
- To give each puppy’s new owner up-to-date, accurate paperwork about the transaction, including a pedigree, medical records, an examination by our veterinarian, a contract, and a bill of sale.
Our puppies have been adopted by adoring families who have welcomed them as pets, competition competitors, therapy dogs, blood trailing training ranches, Law Enforcement organizations, and homes for Search and Rescue. Pet retailers and pet brokers are NOT customers of ours. Since we show a lot of love and devotion to all of our puppies, they all have excellent dispositions for their new owners. Puppies are all assessed to see which ones will make the finest working dogs or family/companion pets. Certainly, we want the family and the dog to be content. A high drive dog won’t fit well in a typical family environment and will just make everyone unhappy. Therefore, it is crucial to assess each family’s needs and provide recommendations accordingly. We also assist puppies get desensitized to the majority of sounds that might frighten or distress them. Puppies are also exposed to various objects and surfaces to give them more confidence when walking on various surfaces. They can practice using their back legs to climb stairs, navigate tunnels, and even slide down thanks to our small obstacle course. All of this is highly beneficial for individuals looking to have a working dog, but it’s also beneficial for our family/companion puppies.
